Reporting to the Finance Director

Duties

Preparing, and generating financial inventory reports

Coordinating monthly, quarterly and year-end stock counts with external auditors.

Managing business supplies and raw materials of high value

Detecting shortages and acting in a timely manner

Defining inventory management KPIs and tracking them regularly

Overseeing daily operations and identifying bottlenecks

Suggesting solutions for continuous improvements

Staying up to date with the latest technology and best practices

Using inventory software

Investigating and resolving inconsistencies with inventory

Ensuring a safe working environment

Minimize inventory loss by incorporating best supply chain practices

Coordinate periodic inventory counts.

Requirements
  • Degree in Finance with relevant experience in inventory management
  • A relevant professional qualification will be an added advantage
  • Experience in ERP Software such as sage pastel
  • Excellent analytical and computer skills.
  • Must have excellent communication and superior interpersonal skills.
  • Must possess high conceptual skills and be innovative
  • At least 3 years’ experience in the relevant area

Duties

Managing the ICT Department

Overseeing all policy formulation in Line with business expectations.

Ensuring the Development of proper ICT solutions for all business requirements

Ensuring that all existing ICT systems are in line with business and strategies

Supervising implementation of all ict platforms

Interpreting ICT solutions for organizations strategic requirements

Developing new and maintaining existing systems

Turning existing systems for proper performance and capacity issues

Ensuring business continuity through disaster recovery and other appropriate backup systems

Managing and ensuring the security of all corporate systems and corporate data

Esuring that senior management is kept abreast with relevant ICT business developments

Innovating new ICT solutions to business requirements

Liasing with external support companies on all ICT related matters

Requirements
  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies Computer Science or equivalent
  • Practical experience in the design, implementation and maintenance of information systems is a must
  • Management experience a must
  • A proven track ( and exhibitable) track record
  • Relevant experience in the transportation and associated sectors is an advantage
  • At least 3 years, experience in a similar position is a requirement

Duties

Assessing and evaluating group training gaps

Managing training and administrative operations of the Training Centre

Organizing training programmes based on identified skills gaps

Maintaining a training team of high professional standards

Ensuring provision of training facilities to hiring organizations

Preparing and managing budgets for running the operations of the Training centre (Capital, Revenue and Expenditure)

Managing finances allocated to the centre

Initiating staff development programs company wide

Accounting for and managing all training centre assets

Developing a result based strategic plan for the Training Centre and developing annual work plans for the Centre

Compiling and submission of monthly, quarterly and annual performance and administrative reports

Maintaining liaison with Head Office on Training matters

Perform any other work-related duties assigned by supervisor

Requirements
  • A relevant Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 3 years of training experience in the transport industry
  • Experience managing training requirements and understanding adult learning methods
  • Much have proven leadership and coaching abilities
  • Ability to learn and understand operating systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with presentation and facilitation skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Windows, Powerpoint, Word , Excel , Outlook)
